"A Catholic Window on the World"     The diocesan newspaper is The Catholic Exponent. The paper published continuously since 1944, exists to inform,to instruct and to unify those Catholics who live within the six counties of the diocese. The paper operates independently, but is published every other week at Central Services. Mailed to 36,000 homes throughout the diocese, the Catholic Exponent includes diocesan events, articles by diocesan staff members and clergy, as well as columns by nationally known writers.   Many homes receive the paper through the Complete Parish Coverage Plan, whereby the parish subscribes for its parishioners, and parishioners contribute to the subscription.
