Loyola University New Orleans awarded at its commencement on May 13, 2017, a Master of Religious Education Degree to Janette Koewacich and Margaret Haney, and a Continuing Education Certificate in Religious Education to Virginia Crumb.  Margaret Haney serves as Parish Director of Religious Education at St. Joseph Parish, Mantua OH.  Janette Koewacich serves as Parish Director of Religious Education at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Boardman OH.  Virginia Crumb serves as Parish Coordinator of Religious Education at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Vienna OH. 

They completed 12 courses in this graduate or certificate program of studies as a learning group sponsored by the Diocese of Youngstown Office of Religious Education and facilitated by Carlette Chordas, MRE, Loyola University New Orleans Institute for Ministry.  Reverend Dave Merweiler, Pastor, Our Lady of the Lakes Paris, North Jackson OH, hosted the group as well as Reverend Frank Zanni, Pastor, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Vienna OH.
