Catholic Charities Regional Agency will hold their 14th Annual Men Who Cook event, “Beach Boys Bash” on Saturday, April 13, 2019, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Maronite Center on Meridian Road. The event features notable men in the area preparing their favorite dish for sampling. A panel of prominent women serves as judges to award the chefs’ dishes based on their unique qualities. This event benefits the Basic Needs/ Emergency Assistance Program, which combines material and financial assistance with advocacy efforts to people in need regardless of religious affiliation. Last year alone, this program helped more than 25,000 people in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Since inception, Men Who Cook has raised over $390,000 toward this program.

Christopher Cicero; Paul Homick of Mercy Health; Owner of Cookie Creations’ Jeff Janci; Barry Franks with Judge Anthony Donofrio and Judge Gene Donofrio; Café Augustine; and Michael Rulli of Rulli Brothers Supermarkets and State Senator.
