Assistant Principal
St. Joseph the Provider School
Youngstown, OH

The Diocese of Youngstown is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Principal at
St. Joseph the Provider School School in Youngstown, OH.

St. Joseph the Provider School is a Grade K-8 school with an enrollment of about 170 students.
Position requirements:
• Committed to developing a faith community and fully supportive of the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Appropriate academic preparation, preferably with an Ohio Principal License
• Demonstrated leadership ability in past or present educational assignments
• Capacity, enthusiasm and intelligence to inspire teachers and students, parents and community
• Knowledge and experience of effective instructional pedagogy
• Highly motivating, with strong interpersonal skills

Purpose of Position: The assistant principal is responsible to the principal for leadership support in the operation of
the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for student life and discipline and assist with the
implementation of the school curriculum and instructional programs in accordance with the schools’ mission.
