Catholic Charities hosts Breakfast with the Bishop on November 29th

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO – Catholic Charities, Diocese of Youngstown, is hosting its first Breakfast with the Bishop event on November 29, “Giving Tuesday,” from 8 to 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel parish hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown. The event features a hearty breakfast, a brief presentation from Bishop David J. Bonnar, a Holiday Bake sale, a raffle, a canned goods collection and “Education Stations” highlighting Catholic Charities’ various ministries and services. Tickets are $25 at www.ccdoy.org. Advance sales only.

Breakfast with the Bishop will kick off Catholic Charities’ annual #GivingTuesday Campaign, with the aim of raising more than $20,000 in just 24 hours. Thanks to Catholic Charities’ corporate donors, all donations received on their website, www.ccdoy.org on Giving Tuesday will be matched up to $10,000. Any gift, large or small, will help Catholic Charities provide services to those in our diocese who are poor, vulnerable and without hope as the result of poverty. Mark your calendars to make your donation on Giving Tuesday, or you can choose to Pledge Now, Pay Later at www.ccdoy.org/pledge/ to schedule your payment to be processed during the event.
