University Parish Campus Minister
The University Parish Newman Center seeks a full time Campus Minister to serve the pastoral, liturgical and catechetical ministries of the young adults of the community. The person selected will accompany the young people, enable their gifts for more active participation in the life of the parish, provide regular opportunities for small faith sharing, retreats, outreach experiences and other opportunities to expand and develop the Catholic Student Association. Located on the campus of Kent State University, the Newman Center provides a place for support, care, welcome and evangelization for a large international student population. Applicants preferred will have a master’s degree in theology or a related field, be energetic and able to accommodate a flexible schedule with weekend and evening commitments.
