The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown Launches New Website for 75th Anniversary Jubilee
DOY.org Consolidates Multiple Websites into a Single Location with Enhanced Features
May 21, 2018 – As the Diocese of Youngstown recognizes their 75th Jubilee Anniversary, the celebration continues with the launch of their all-new website, www.DOY.org. The new website will help bolster the online branding efforts of the Diocese, as well as utilizes different technologies to unite parishes, parishioners, and their faith based community across Northeast Ohio.
The new website, whose development was led by a special committee appointed by Monsignor Robert J. Siffrin with the help of 898 Marketing, features a new, contemporary design that is mobile friendly. The new site not only reorganized the content on the previous site for the Diocese of Youngstown, but integrated content for Social Concerns, Catholic Schools, Vocations and Religious Education into the new site for easier access to information as well as saving the Diocese costs.
Features of the new site include:
- Interactive calendar of events across the Diocese
- Beautiful images of each of the 87 parishes in the Diocese with detailed information, including mass times and a history of each parish
- Diocesan team and priest contact information
- Secured log in for content for Catholic School teachers and administrators
- Bi-lingual option for Spanish speaking parishioners to find what they need
- Official blog of the Diocese of Youngstown with valuable information from priests, team members and parishioners
The new site is part of the Diocese of Youngstown’s Jubilee, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown and their dedication to ministering and serving people in Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, Portage, Stark and Trumbull counties. The Diocese will be celebrating the Jubliee during the month of May.
