The Telly Awards, the world’s largest honor for video and television content across all screens, has announced this year’s winners, including CTNY, which received three Telly Awards. One Silver Telly was awarded for the show “Spotlight,” featuring host, Fr. Jim Korda, and guest, Dr. James Kravec, where they discussed the COVID 19 Pandemic; and, two Bronze Telly’s for the Mass for Shut Ins with Fr. Jim Korda, and the Funeral Mass for the late Bishop George V. Murry, SJ.
Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television and is judged by the Telly Award Judging Council — an industry body of over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies, and major television networks, reflective of the multi-screen industry the Telly Awards celebrates. The 42nd annual Telly Awards received a 15% increase in entries from the previous year. The Telly Award is the premier award which receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 States and five continents. CTNY has received a total of 17 Telly Awards over the years.
