The Ninth Annual Faith & Family Festival of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2018 on the West Quad of Walsh University’s Campus, 2020 E. Maple St., North Canton. The day will start at 11:00 a.m. with Mass planned with Bishop Murry and conclude at 6:00 p.m. Come and be renewed in Christ!
Throughout the day there will be local and nationally known musical acts, including polka artist Matt Schafer, Puerto Rican ensemble Conjunto Riquena, Gospel singer Felicia Landry and Christian rock bands Remedy Drive and Stars Go Dim, which are often featured on radio stations 95.5 the FISH and K-Love.
In addition there will be a wide variety of activities for kids, students and families, a prayer tent, various vendors and exhibitors, confessions, Eucharistic adoration and affordable food by Café Augustine. A Cake Baking Contest and Sale will highlight the 75th Anniversary of the Diocese of Youngstown.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted. Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket and lawn chairs.
The Faith and Family Festival promises to be the largest gathering of Catholic families in the Diocese of Youngstown. The event is sponsored by the Diocesan Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Life in partnership with Walsh University, and with the help of many donors and corporate sponsors.
