The Office of Lay Ministry Formation is once again offering Foundations in Ministry, which is a 20 session program to deepen the spirituality, theological knowledge and ministry skills of adults who desire to grow deeper in their faith and become a more active disciple. In order to remain vibrant in the future, our parishes need more committed baptized disciples to participate in the ministry of the Church. Participants of the Foundations in Ministry program learn, pray, and reflect on their faith along with a community of learners. Participants are also given the opportunity to further discern their own call to ministry.
Foundations in Ministry will begin on Monday, September 24th. Participants continue to meet on Mondays through April 1st, 2019, at the Ursuline Center in Canfield. All sessions meet from 7:00-9:30PM. As one past participant said, “it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about your faith and church in an environment that is as excited and passionate as you are!”
