The USCCB Secretariat on Divine Worship has issued notes and resources for use in memory of Pope Francis, through the novendiales (nine days), and during the election of a new Pope. This includes prayers of the faithful, suggested hymns, appropriate changes to the Eucharistic prayer, options for the collect, and more.

The novendiales (nine days) period of mourning takes place from April 26 to May 4, 2025.
