Ministry Day 2019 – “Embracing Our Call”

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, the Offices of Campus Ministry, Catholic Charities, Catholic Schools, Development/Stewardship, Evangelization, Lay Ministry Formation, Pro-Life, Marriage and Family, Propagation of the Faith and Missions, Religious Education, Social Concerns, Vocations, Worship and Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is sponsoring Ministry Day 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, 2121 Reno Drive, Louisville, Ohio from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Keynote address for the day entitled “Embracing Our Call: A Journey We Share in Hope” will be presented by Nancy Bird, the Director of Training and Professional Development for RCL Benziger Religion Publishing Company.  The Keynote Address will center on the reality that in today’s world of chronic busyness and chaotic negativity, it is often hard to recognize the sacredness in everyday living.  How do we honestly address the challenges and roadblocks of our culture, our church, and our own circumstances while being faithful to the Gospel? How do we navigate the journey, and its multiple twists and turns, with the confidence that our compass has been properly regulated?  How do we collectively and personally steady the course and be at the service of God’s holy people?  Embrace your own call to holiness, and invite others to recognize theirs!
