The Most Rev. David J. Bonnar, Bishop of Youngstown, has made the following clergy and personal assignments. They are effective as noted:

Clergy:

Rev. Maciej Mankowski, continuing as pastor of the newly named Divine Mercy Parish in Massillon effective January 1, 2023, in addition to his responsibilities as pastor of Holy Family Parish, Navarre and Brewster.

Rev. Mr. Brook Benedict, continuing as transitional deacon serving the newly named Divine Mercy Parish in Massillon, effective January 1, 2023, in addition to his responsibilities as transitional deacon at Holy Family Parish in Navarre and Brewster, under the supervision of Rev. Maciej Mankowski.

Rev. Robert Miller, rescinding previous assignment as Sacramental Minister in Mahoning and Trumbull County to retirement from ministry effective December 1, 2022.

Rev. Frantisek Katrinak, temporary leave from all ministerial duties and responsibility due to restrictions and guidelines required by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services effective December 1, 2022.

Rev. Christopher Cicero, pro-tem Administrator of Saint Mary and Saint Joseph Parish, Warren, effective December 1, 2022, in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Warren and Chaplain at John F. Kennedy School (Lower Campus).

Very Rev. Ryan Furlong, V.F., pro-tem Dean of Trumbull County, effective December 1, 2022, in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish, Vienna, Chaplain at John F. Kennedy School (Upper Campus), and Diocesan Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

Rev. Edward Stafford, returning from medical leave to parochial vicar of Blessed Sacrament Parish and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Warren, effective January 1, 2023 with eventual duties at Saint Mary and Saint Joseph Parish in Warren.

 

Diocesan Pastoral Associates:


Ms. Patricia Condello, continuing as Diocesan Pastoral Associate of the newly named Divine Mercy Parish in Massillon effective January 1, 2023, in addition to her responsibilities as Diocesan Pastoral Associate at Holy Family Parish, Navarre and Brewster.

St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville to be Sold

Press Release | The Most Rev. David J. Bonnar, Bishop of Youngstown, and Chairman of the St. Joseph Care Center Corporation, announces that the Members of the Corporation have made the decision to sell St. Joseph Care Center, a senior living facility located in Louisville, Ohio.
