Parish History

The Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a historic Catholic Church in Youngstown, Ohio; built in 1913 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The parish was established in 1908 by local Italian Immigrants. In 2012 the parish was merged with St. Anthony of Padua Parish to become Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Anthony of Padua Parish.
