The Conference for Pastoral Planning and Council Development (CPPCD) will hold their 2020 Annual Summit in northeast Ohio from April 26th – 29th at the beautiful Jesuit Retreat Center in Parma, Ohio, located less than 15 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The theme of the Summit is “Practicing Pastoral Leadership.” Clergy and laity from (arch)dioceses and parishes who are responsible for leadership and pastoral planning are invited to join in the formation and discussion.
Scheduled speakers include: Jack Jezreel, originator of the JustFaith program and author of A New Way to Be Church: Parish Renewal from the Outside In; Marti Jewell, director of the Emerging Models of Pastoral Leadership Project and author of Navigating Pastoral Transitions: A Parish Leaders’ Guide; Mark Mogilka, church planning and management consultant with 42 years of service in diocesan ministries; and Chris Lowney, chair of Catholic Health Initiatives and author of Everybody Leads: How to Revitalize the Catholic Church. In addition, this is a wonderful opportunity to network with other leaders and pastoral planners from around the country, all in the peaceful setting of a retreat center. The summit registration fee includes the full program, lodging, and meals. Early registration rates are available through February 7th. Visit www.cppcd.org for the full program brochure, with conference rates, speaker information, schedules, and more.
