PRESIDENT 

St. Joseph the Provider School, Youngstown, OH

The Diocese of Youngstown is accepting applications for the position of President  (full or part-time) of St. Joseph the Provider Elementary School, in Youngstown, OH.

St. Joseph the Provider has an enrollment of approximately 140 students and has a dedicated and talented faculty. For more information on the school, please visit St. Joseph the Provider School.

Qualifications:

  • Roman Catholic, practicing and actively committed to developing a faith community and fully supportive of the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Ability to articulate and promote a vision of Catholic education
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in fundraising
  • Capacity to build relationships with stakeholders

 

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Executive leadership
    • Serving as the CEO of the school, the President works with Board members to implement the school’s mission in all aspects of operation
    • Has final responsibility for all budgeting decisions
    • Develops and implements the school’s master plan for facilities
    • Supervises all divisional leaders (principals, development officers, HR/Finance, and Communications, Facilities, and alumni engagement)
    • Represents the school in all legal matters, with appropriate counsel
    • With the Principal, ensures compliance with state, federal, and diocesan policies 
  • Community Engagement
    • Acts as face of the school in the broader community 
    • Actively engages Alumni and Donor population–maintains a visible presence at fundraising events
    • Maintains active communication plan with all stakeholder
  • School Identity
    • Articulates and embodies the school’s mission and identity
    • Has final responsibility for ensuring continuity between the school’s mission and its operational procedures and initiatives
    • Maintains relationships with local and/or diocesan representatives
