Unplug and Recharge Retreat

The Office of Evangelization is hosting a one-day retreat, “Unplug and Recharge: Tap into the Trinity,” on Saturday, June 15th at St. Joseph Parish in Randolph.  The day-long retreat will include prayer, inspiring witness talks, time for personal reflection, fellowship, and an opportunity to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation.  The retreat will end with Mass and dinner.  The $30 registration fee includes all retreat materials and meals.  Registration starts at 9:00am and the retreat lasts until about 7:00pm, including the vigil Mass in the grotto (weather permitting) and dinner.

This retreat is open to anyone who is longing to get away and spend a day in prayer and reflection.  Unplug from the daily routine, recharge your spirit as you encounter the Trinity, and renew your commitment to daily discipleship.  The retreat is a great opportunity for catechists, RCIA team and participants, liturgical ministers, social justice ministry workers, parents, young adults and any “Martha” who is usually burdened with much serving and needs to take some time to be a “Mary,” sitting by the Lord and listening to Him speak (see Luke 10:38-42).

For more information, contact Pete Schafer at (330) 744-8451 ext. 275 or pschafer@youngstowndiocese.org.  Information flyers and registration materials, including online registration, are available at https://doy.org/ministries-2/office-of-evangelization/ Deadline for registration is June 10th.
