The Very Reverend Monsignor Robert J. Siffrin, Diocesan Administrator of the Diocese of Youngstown, will celebrate a special Mass on October 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown to mark the wedding anniversaries of 87 couples who are being honored for a total of 4051 years of wedded life ranging from 25 to 69 years.
Anthony & Patricia Parish, parishioners of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica/St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Youngstown and John and Eleanor Sciortino of St. Christine Parish, Youngstown are both celebrating 69 years of marriage in the year 2020.
Other couples celebrating will be: 25 couples married 51-66 years; 29 couples wedded 50 years; 14 couples observing 40 years; and 17 couples marking 25 years.
The Wedding Anniversary Celebration includes renewal of marriage vows at Mass and a personalized certificate. Due to COVID-19 concerns, many of the couples will not be attending the celebration in person but will participate remotely via live-streaming of the Mass through the website of the Diocese of Youngstown at https://doy.org/media/etclive-2/.
