Bishop George V. Murry, S.J., will celebrate a special Mass on June 24, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown to mark the wedding anniversaries of 156 couples who are being honored for a total of 7337 years of wedded life ranging from 25 to 74 years.
John and Helen Kaluczky, parishioners of Holy Apostles Parish in Youngstown, are the longest married couple celebrating 74 years of marriage.
Other couples celebrating will be: 44 couples married 51-73 years; 54 couples married 50 years; 32 couples will observe 40 years; and 25 couples will mark 25 years.
The Wedding Anniversary Celebration includes renewal of marriage vows at Mass and a personalized certificate. A reception, hosted by Our Lady of Mt. Carmel – St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Youngstown, will be held for the honored couples and their families following the Mass in the Cathedral Hall.
