Our Charism
- Our Catholic community has a long tradition of Catholic education and lifelong faith formation. Since 1906, our schools have produced thousands of graduates who have carried on the faith. St. Christine School remains a strong anchor in Youngstown. We focus on programs for youth and responding to the needs of our neighbors. In addition, the community has produced many vocations to the priesthood and religious life throughout its existence.
Our Festivities & Fundraisers
- Our parish has well-supported Lenten fish dinners, and an Annual Slovak Fest each year in August, drawing hundreds of patrons and providing exceptional food, music and games. We offer a number of fellowship activities throughout the year including an annual celebration called "Brunch with Brendan" on the Sunday nearest St. Brendan's feast day.
Our Ministries & Outreach
- We have a youth group, extremely active St. Vincent DePaul conference and consistently support the work of the Dorothy Day House to which we provide both funds and meals.
