WELCOME TO THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF YOUNGSTOWN
The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown was established on May 15, 1943, and was canonically erected on July 22, 1943. Located in Northeast Ohio, the diocese includes six counties: Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, Portage, Stark and Trumbull. This area totals 3,404 square miles.
OUR MISSION
The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is a Eucharistic community proclaiming the joy of the Gospel and living communion with Jesus Christ and His Church. As daughters and sons of the Father, we grow in faith, hope and charity through the grace of the Holy Spirit, and go forth as missionary disciples.
