UPDATED
THANK YOU to the 75 parishes and schools that signed up to attend an introductory webinar to Catholic Social Media. As of March 20, 2025, 63% of invited organizations have an active account! Collectively, your posts have made 50,667 impressions to date.
In addition to easily scheduling social media posts, the “Resources” section is organized into folders for bulletin blurbs, prayers of the faith, and special campaigns (Appeal, School Affordability, Jubilee). Active users have commented that they are finding Catholic Social Media an easier, one-stop shop way to find content for their bulletins, prayers, email newsletters, and websites.
If you do not yet have your Catholic Social Media account, or if your email invitation has expired, simply:
- Email support@prengersolutions.com
- Let them know your parish or school name

WHAT IS CATHOLIC SOCIAL MEDIA?
Did you know that Catholic parishes that post regularly on social media see higher rates of Mass attendance and stewardship?
Starting in 2025, the diocese has made a new tool available for FREE to schools and parishes to help easily schedule Catholic content on social media. The Catholic Social Media platform will help you find diocesan content to share on social media, upload and schedule your own social media content, and/or download content for use in bulletins, websites, and other communications. Catholic Social Media makes it easy to share and post timely Catholic content with just a few clicks.
Every school or parish collaboration has been asked to designate at least one person to access this new tool called Catholic Social Media.
Some users have been receiving an alert that they can upgrade to continue receiving Catholic Social Media (CSM) content. To clarify: Your access to this platform and all content from the Diocese of Youngstown or that you create is 100% FREE to all parishes, schools & diocesan offices. A small % of parishes do choose to pay for that additional CSM content, but it is absolutely not necessary.
