The Most Reverend David J. Bonnar, Bishop of Youngstown has made the following Clergy Assignments:

Reverend Robert Edwards, pastor of Saint Paul Parish, Salem and administrator of Saint Patrick Parish, Leetonia to retirement from administrative responsibilities effective February 28, 2022.

Reverend Monsignor Peter Polando from rector of Saint Columba Cathedral to pastor of Saint Paul Parish, Salem and administrator of Saint Patrick Parish, Leetonia, effective March 1, 2022.

Reverend Monsignor Robert Siffrin to rector of Saint Columba Cathedral, while continuing his responsibilities as pastor of Saint Edward Parish, Youngstown and Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, effective March 1, 2022.

Reverend Matthew Zwilling from associate pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Ashtabula, to vice rector of Saint Columba Cathedral and associate pastor at Saint Edward Parish, Youngstown, effective March 1, 2022.  In addition to these responsibilities he will assume the role of administrator of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Campbell on April 25, 2022 and begin online courses in Church Management at Villanova University.

Reverend Raymond Thomas and Reverend Daniel Finnerty will provide for spiritual care of Our Lady of Peace, Ashtabula and Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Geneva during this time of transition.

Reverend John Paul (Michael) Walker, O.P. to parochical vicar of Saint Dominic Parish, Youngstown and sacramental minister at Saint Rose, Girard, effective March 1, 2022.

Deacon Sylvester Frazzini will provide diaconal ministry to include Saint Columba Cathedral and Saint Edward Parish, Youngstown, effective March 1, 2022.

Deacon Michael Puhalla will provide diaconal ministry to include Saint Columba Cathedral and Saint Edward Parish, Youngstown, effective April 25, 2022.
