Bishop David Bonnar is making the following deacon assignments, effective November 2, 2026:
Deacon Steven Gies is relieved of his assignment as deacon of Saint Ambrose, Garrettsville and Saint Joseph, Mantua and remains deacon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Aurora and Saint Joan of Arc, Streetsboro, which will become one parish community on January 1, 2027 (parish name to be determined).
Deacon Matt Richards is relieved of his assignment as deacon of Saint Ambrose, Garrettsville and Saint Joseph, Mantua and remains deacon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Aurora and Saint Joan of Arc, Streetsboro, which will become one parish community on January 1, 2027 (parish name to be determined).
