EdChoice Scholarship Available for Catholic Schools (Bulletin Materials) -NEW BROCHURE

The Office of Catholic Schools now has an updated brochure about EdChoice.

Please edit the following bulletin blurb to include contact information for your local Catholic school(s).

As a result of Ohio House Bill 33, signed into law on July 4, 2023, all K-12 students in Ohio are now eligible for an EdChoice Scholarship that can be used toward Catholic School tuition. This includes currently enrolled children as well as any new student beginning their Catholic School experience.

The EdChoice Scholarship will cover a portion, or in some cases, the full cost of a family’s Catholic school tuition. A student’s specific EdChoice amount depends on the family’s 2023 gross adjusted income and family size. The amount could be as much as $6,166 per year for a student in grades K-8, and $8,408 per year for a student in grades 9-12.

Please contact your local Catholic school to learn how to apply for this benefit: doy.org/schools/contact.

Returning families are already aware of the value of Catholic education. Families interested in pursuing a Catholic education for the first time should contact the local Catholic school principal who will be happy to assist you. Availability for new enrollments will vary by location.
