Bishop David Bonnar warmly invites all young men—from high school age up to about 35—to join him for an evening of food, fellowship, and prayer. Whether you’re actively discerning the priesthood or simply wondering what God may be calling you to next, you are welcome.

Come spend time with the bishop, our diocesan seminarians, and vocation directors Fr. Chad Johnson and Fr. Will Wainio on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the University Parish Newman Center on the campus of Kent State University. The evening will begin with Evening Prayer at 5:30 PM, followed by a cookout and games.

This relaxed, informal gathering offers a chance to pray together, share a meal, and connect with seminarians and the bishop in a more personal setting. There is no pressure or commitment—just an open, supportive space to explore where God may be leading you.
