Festival of Lessons and Carols
A Festival of Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Saint Columba Cathedral. All are invited to come and hear the Saint Columba Cathedral Choir sing the Peter Hallock setting of “The Great O Antiphons.” Dating back to the eighth century, these are the antiphons that accompany the Magnificat canticle of Evening Prayer from December 17-23. Hallock’s incredibly rich take on these antiphons provides a majestic, yet prayerful experience. This is a free event and open to the public.
