Vocations Awareness Week

National Vocation Awareness Week is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.

Visit our Vocations page for more information about our support for those discerning God’s call.

For Vocations lesson plans, videos, library resources, and more, please visit the Vocations page at Catechist Cafe, prepared by the Office of Faith Formation and Lay Ecclesial Ministry.

This year, National Vocations Awareness Week is celebrated the week of November 6-12. The Seminarians of the Diocese of Youngstown will be out in our parishes the weekend of October 29-30. This week is a wonderful opportunity to speak about Priesthood, Consecrated Religious Life, Married Life, and Single Life. If you would like more information or if you would like a visit, please contact Fr. Chad Johnson at 330-744-8451 or by email at cjohnson@youngstowndiocese.org.
