As a response to Christus Vivit, Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation to Young People, Listen, Teach, Send is a new document that the USCCB made public in June 2024 that gives guidance to the Catholic Church in accompanying and evangelizing young people. It is a summons to local Catholic communities to revitalize their approach to accompanying young people. The document is modeled in light of the encounter with Jesus on the Road to Emmaus in the Gospel. In the same way, we are called to accompany and journey with the young members of our Church, listen to what is on their hearts and minds, and guide them to what is true, good, and beautiful.
