YOUNGSTOWN, OH – The Most Rev. David J. Bonnar, Bishop of Youngstown will preside over a Mass of Thanksgiving for Blessed Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 12:10 p.m., at St. Columba Cathedral. Following his September 24th beatification, Catholic Churches across Ohio and the United States gained the ability to celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving in his honor.

Diocese of Youngstown Vice-Chancellor Dominic Colucy will offer a brief reflection on his experience at the Beatification Mass of Blessed Fulton J. Sheen at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Colucy says, “Blessed Fulton Sheen knew that communion with Jesus is the root of blessedness, and it is only in knowing Jesus and being known by Jesus that we can be effective evangelizers and missionaries.”
