Kolbe Gathering is a place for the formerly incarcerated and their families to join with parish-based volunteers in spiritual support and fellowship. Our gatherings embrace spirituality in prayer, music, scripture reading and fellowship, all in a welcoming and warm environment. It is through our actions that we can share God’s unconditional love and support to each other.

Our gatherings take place on the first and third Thursday of the month from 6 pm until 8 pm at Holy Apostle SS Peter and Paul Church, 421 Covington St., Youngstown OH and the Immaculate Conception Parish Center at 225 S. Sycamore St., Ravenna, OH.

The Kolbe Gathering takes its name from the St, Maximilian Kolbe, the Patron Saint for prisoners and drug addicts. He was martyred in the German death camp of Auschwitz during the second world war.
