ODJFS Seeks Foster Families

It takes 100% heart to foster and adopt in Ohio.  Every year, people open their homes to children in need – and they don’t all have fancy houses or graduate degrees. What they do have is 100% heart.  Thousands of children in Ohio need stable, consistent, and loving homes. Becoming a kinship, foster, or adoptive parent is a serious, yet rewarding experience that requires research and preparation.

Children are the future of our communities. It is up to each of us to make sure that they have families to help them grown and be safe. Children who have been abused or neglected need caring, compassionate people to be willing to open their hearts and homes as foster families or adoptive parents.  If you or someone you know might be interested in taking on the challenges and rewards of becoming a foster or adoptive parent, please use this link to learn more.
