YOUNGSTOWN, OH – Patrick Lowry has been named the new President of Saint Joseph the Provider School in Youngstown. Mr. Lowry has spent more than 25 years in education; 22 of those at John F. Kennedy High School in Warren as a teacher, counselor, coach building leader and union representative. Lowry also served two years as Director of Strategic Initiative for the Youngstown City School District. Most recently, the Youngstown State University graduate spent 18 years as Director of Communications & District Press Secretary for former Congressman Tim Ryan. Lowry is a Youngstown native and Ursuline High School graduate. He and his wife Becky have three children and eight grandchildren. Lowry starts on July 1.
On his hire, Superintendent Steven Jones says, “Pat Lowry brings all the right gifts to his work at St. Joseph the Provider School, including a real heart for our city. He’s going to be a tremendous advocate for the school!”
Lowry says, “I am excited to be joining the Team at St. Joseph the Provider School. I look forward to working with the staff and families of St. Joe’s to provide the services needed to ensure academic success for each and every student. I am also committed in making sure the school continues to serve the needs of Youngstown students for many years to come.”
