Parish Bulletin editors, Liturgical Coordinators and prayer group leaders are encouraged to pray for vocations to lay ecclesial ministry, that is non-clergy faithful authorized to lead ministries in our parishes, schools and organization, in upcoming meeting and event prayers, and in the Universal Prayers at weekend Liturgies. You may also include in your parish bulletin.
Please consider using one per week, if appropriate.
Let us pray for Lay People Serving in our parishes:
- For retirees who have left the secular workforce but feel like they still have skills to share, to consider positions in the Church like coordinator of religious education, pastoral ministry, and adult faith formation, we pray to the Lord. R/.
-
For more young adults to consider serving in our Church as coordinators of religious education, youth ministers, pastoral associates, Catholic school teachers, campus ministers, and other parish ministries, we pray to the Lord. R/.

For an increased openness to serving in leadership positions in our parish, we pray to the Lord. R/.
