As the tax season starts, Ohio taxpayers can reduce their 2025 state tax return through a donation to the Good Samaritan Scholarship up to $750 per individual or $1500 married filing jointly. DOY maintains this Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) and distributes it to families based on financial need. Donors can designate these funds to a specific school or the area of highest need. Leading up to Catholic Schools Week, parishes & schools are encouraged to use the SGO Marketing toolkit created by 898 Marketing to promote their local Catholic schools:
