Catholic Charities, Diocese of Youngstown, announces the commencement of the annual Season of Giving Campaign. This annual, 60-day campaign benefits those in need throughout the six-county Diocese of Youngstown.
Gifts to Catholic Charities will keep families stably housed, put food on tables, allow utility services to remain connected, and above all, expresses the love of God and compassion for one another. All donations received through the “Season of Giving” campaign will be passed through to local Catholic Charities agencies to serve those in the diocese who are poor, vulnerable and without hope as the result of poverty.
There are many ways to engage with Catholic Charities during this annual celebration, including in-person events and online at https://www.ccdoy.org/season-of-giving/.
Among these events, the #GivingTuesday Online Fundraiser, on Tuesday, November 28, aims to collect more than $20,000 in just 24 hours. Thanks to Catholic Charities’ corporate sponsors, all donations received online on #GivingTuesday will be matched, up to $10,000. Mark your calendars to make your donation on #GivingTuesday, or you can choose Pledge Now, Pay Later by visiting www.ccdoy.org/pledge/ to schedule your payment in advance.
