The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown announces the re-launch of its website DOY.org as a one stop shop to find what is happening now in our six counties. Visitors will find information on diocesan events, Mass times, job postings, diocesan ministries and Catholic Charities.
As Catholic parishes reorganize, the diocesan website supports ongoing active participation in Catholic life and ministry. Use the new Mass Finder for weekend Mass times or look up parishes by County. Parishioners and visitors can filter for eucharistic adoration, Santa Misa en español (Mass in Spanish), St. Vincent dePaul Society and more.
Developed with the support of 898 Marketing, a Digital Marketing Agency based in Canfield, Ohio, the new DOY.org design emphasizes search to quickly find accurate and official Catholic sources of information. The diocese is committed to building trust through transparency with detailed information on:
- procedures to maintain a safe environment
- controls for sound financial stewardship
- ways to support the annual diocesan appeal
- links to report potential abuse
- how to find and request sacramental records
Together, DOY.org and CatholicEcho.org attracted 58,000 views in the past month, and those numbers continue to increase due to local event coverage, official announcements, and career opportunities. Our websites illustrate local Catholic life through photography and videography from The Catholic Echo, diocesan Communications Department, and a network of talented freelancers.
Members of the media are encouraged to use our Press Kit for updated logos for the Diocese of Youngstown, The Catholic Echo, and Bishop Bonnar’s coat of arms. At DOY.org/news/, visitors can view past press releases or subscribe to email updates for future press releases.
In addition to DOY.org, content from the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown and The Catholic Echo is shared on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Job seekers can follow us on LinkedIn. Homebound Catholics can continue to pray along with Our Sunday Mass, filmed in St. Columba Cathedral, starting every Saturday at 4:00 p.m. on Facebook, YouTube and catholicecho.org/live/
