Taize Prayer Service: National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM)

The Youngstown NPM is hosting a Taizé prayer service on June 1 at 6 pm at Regina Coeli Parish. This service musically and prayerfully invites us to allow Christ to more fully enter into our busy lives.

ABOUT

NPM is a national organization for Catholic church musicians. According to their mission statement, “The National Association of Pastoral Musicians fosters the art of musical liturgy. The members of NPM serve the Catholic Church in the United States as musicians, clergy, liturgists, and other leaders of prayer.”

NPM holds webinars and conferences each year for its members, both regionally and nationally. Their website allows networking opportunities between members, and they send regular emails with reflections and links to online articles and publications. In addition to this, NPM offers certificates for cantors, pianists, and organists to help foster their continued learning.
