The Dicastery of Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments confirmed the USA translation of the English and Spanish versions of the OCIA on February 14, 2024. The Secretariat of Divine Worship of the USCCB has been reviewing the text for publication. Archbishop Timothy Broglio, President of the USCCB issued a Decree of Promulgation on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. The new OCIA texts will be released for sale by publishers on November 1, 2024 – The Feast of All Saints. The new text may be used in liturgy beginning on December 1, 2024 – The First Sunday of Advent with mandatory use beginning on March 5, 2025 – Ash Wednesday.
