The Dicastery for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments has confirmed the revised translation of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adult and the Ritual de la Iniciacion Cristiana de Adultos. The decrees of confirmation were issued on Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2024 and were received by the USCCB shortly thereafter. The final texts will undergo the customary review by the Secretariat for Divine Worship before an implementation schedule is announced. Workshops will be planned for clergy and OCIA Parish Team members to introduce the new Order at the appropriate time.
