YOUNGSTOWN, OH – The Office of Youth and Young Adult Accompaniment of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is hosting a Diocesan Youth Convention event at Walsh University (2020 E. Maple Street, North Canton) on Saturday March 8, from Noon to 8:00 p.m. Youth groups from across the Diocese of Youngstown gather for a communal and inspirational faith experience. The day-long event features Mass with Most Reverend Bishop David J. Bonnar, breakout sessions, guest speaker Chris Padgett, music, adoration and time with friends. The event is open to high schoolers grades 9-12 and registration is $40. The group registration deadline is January 30. Group leaders must have registrants paid for, and all participants – teens, as well as adults – must have their waivers turned in by the end of the day on February 2.
