There is much concern over a possible severe flu outbreak and the effect this may have on our liturgical celebrations. The Diocese of Youngstown continues to monitor this issue with local and national health organizations. At the present time we do not see a need to mandate adaptations at Mass, and consider we are in Stage One which includes reminders regarding hygiene and participation at Mass. If we become aware of the need to implement other steps, information will be provided.
