CTNY has received a Communicator Award for Excellence for the 23rd Annual Communicator Awards for its radio program "Wineskins."  The mission of the Communicator Awards is to seek out and recognize outstanding work in marketing and communications.  The award honors those who spread their message to the world.  The Communicator Award is the leading international creative awards program of its kind.  The prestigious award is hand-made and customized by the craftsmen at RS Owens, the same firm that produces the Oscars and the Emmy Awards.  This is the eighth Communicator Award for CTNY.  Wineskins is a half-hour radio program conceived and produced by CTNY, the Catholic Television Network of Youngstown, airing every Sunday over:  WKBN-AM 570 Youngstown at 7:30 a.m.; WILB-AM 1060 Canton and WILB-FM 89.5 Youngstown at 9:30 a.m. & 9:00 p.m.; and, WSOM-AM 600 Salem at 11:00 a.m. Wineskins addresses real issues in today's world and church while sharing faith and information.  Since its beginnings in August of 1981, Wineskins has won several awards, including the Gabriel and Proclaim Awards.  For more information, please contact the Rev.
