As part of a grant to the Catholic Leadership Institute for this initiative, personal coaching is available to all clergy. All priests and deacons are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

Theology on Tap is an invitation to young adults (18-39) to delve deeper in their faith and in community with other members of the Church.
Proceeds from this all-Women’s Golf Classic will benefit the Voice of Hope Shelters for Women and Children operated by Catholic Charities Regional Agency.
The Eagle of the Cross award is given to outstanding juniors and seniors throughout the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown who exemplify particular zeal in their faith and ministry programs. Awardees are chosen annually by a team of youth ministers and DREs who judge nominations from counties in which they are not located. Up to 3 awards per county for parish involvement, and up to 2 awards per diocesan Catholic high school are awarded each year.
This year, January 25/26, 2025 will be designated as “Sunday of the Word of God” and is to be devoted to the celebration, study, and dissemination of the Word of God. Bishop David Bonnar will institute three men as readers on their way to the Order of the Permanent Diaconate.
We invite all to pray along with Bishop Bonnar and our parishes, asking for the Holy Spirit to renew us during this Year of Hope.
Prayer cards featuring the crucifix from Saint Columba Cathedral are being distributed to all parishes in the Diocese of Youngstown for inclusion in Masses and other events throughout the Jubilee Year of Hope.
