The Most Rev. David J. Bonnar, Bishop of Youngstown, has made the following clergy assignments. All assignments are effective July 1, 2022 unless otherwise noted.
Priest Assignments
Rev. Steve Agostino, sacramental minister at St. Christine Parish and Our Lady of Sorrows, Parish, Youngstown in addition to his current responsibilities as Administrator of St. Brendan Parish, Youngstown.
Rev. Peter Haladej, part-time parochial vicar at St. Joseph Parish and Regina Coeli Parish in Alliance, St. Joseph Parish, Maximo, and St. Ann Parish, Sebring while completing studies at Walsh University.
Rev. Matthew Humerickhouse, from parochial vicar at Holy Family Parish, Poland and sacramental minister at St. Luke Parish, Boardman to parochial vicar at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Boardman in addition to his current responsibilities as chaplain at Cardinal Mooney High School. Effective August 1, 2022.
Rev. Connor Hetzel, parochial vicar at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Canton.
Rev. David Misbrener, granted a one-month sabbatical from August 8 – September 8, 2022.
Rev. Leonard Petcavage, OSB, parochial vicar at Holy Family Parish, Poland and sacramental minister at St. Luke Parish, Boardman. Effective August 1, 2022.
Rev. Joseph Ruggieri, returning from a leave of absence to parochial vicar at St. Joseph Parish, Mantua, St. Ambrose Parish, Garrettsville, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Aurora, and St. Joan of Arc Parish, Streetsboro.
Rev. Brian Smith, from parochial vicar at St. Paul Parish, North Canton to Diocesan Director of Clergy Formation in addition to his current responsibilities as Diocesan Director of Hispanic Ministry.
