EMMAUS
Fall 2025 | Various Locations, Stark County
Emmaus is a NEW diocesan speaker series, developed by the Diocesan Office of Youth & Young Adult Accompaniment and hosted by Young Adult Ministry Leaders throughout Stark County, will be taking place over the course of four months in the summer/fall of 2025! The following mission statement and this series in general was inspired by the story of Jesus on the Road to Emmaus in Luke 24; where the disciples gathered together to appreciate fellowship and authentic community in the presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ; they were taught by Him, and learned about Him; and then they were sent out, empowered to announce what they believe and what they just heard to the whole world:
For young adults in Stark County within the Diocese of Youngstown to journey together and grow in authentic faith and fellowship, to empower them to go forth and live the Gospel.
Emmaus will replace for now the diocesan Theology on Tap West series that took place in Fall 2024, but will share a similar structure, including a speaker, but this time at locations that may lend way to more fellowship/community-oriented opportunities, such as games, hiking, etc. This is a series that can only be possible by the gracious collaboration and dedication of Young Adult Ministry Leaders in Stark County. Check back in for more information as it becomes available!
