Diocesan Media Day

Parishes are invited to celebrate our first Diocesan Media Day on Sunday, September 29th, 2024! Schools can celebrate on Monday, September 30.

Diocesan Media Day is an opportunity to thank those who work or volunteer for the parish/school in media & communications (social media, website, bulletin editor, answering phones, etc). Suggested activities include:

• blessing communications professionals,
• highlighting diocesan multimedia, and
• discussing the impact of positive media in spreading the Gospel.

Resources have been emailed to parishes & schools.

In addition to the blessing, you can provide certificates thanking those who work or volunteer for the parish/school in media & communications (social media, website, bulletin editor, answering phones, etc). Click this link for a Canva template which you can customize. Substitute leaders in your parish for the signature lines.

In honor of the Feast of the Archangels, who proclaim God’s message to the world, we are thanking Catholics who serve in media and communications in the Diocese of Youngstown.
