Mardi Gras | Shrove Tuesday (Diocesan Offices Half-Day)

The diocesan offices will be open from 8:00am-11:45am to celebrate “Fat Tuesday.” Please enjoy your celebrations!

From Bishop Bonnar: “Time is marching by. Wednesday, March 5, 2025, we will begin the holy season of Lent which is a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. This day is preceded by what is often called ‘Fat Tuesday.’  This day is a time to celebrate before we embark upon an intentional time of fasting. In that spirit of celebration, [diocesan offices] will have our own Fat Tuesday Celebration on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.”
