Prison Ministry Volunteer Retreat & Training
We need your help! This year, the Diocese of Youngstown is hosting its annual PRISON MINISTRY VOLUNTEER RETREAT & TRAINING as part of a larger campaign to increase the number of Catholics engaged in prison ministry in all six counties. Current prison ministry volunteers will be invited and RSVP through their site coordinators.
Jesus said: “I was in prison, and you visited me.” Come learn about the range of prison and jail ministries in our diocese, including visitation and letter-writing, to discern if this might be a good fit for your time & talents. Lunch included!
- Saturday, September 19, 2026, 10am-3:30pm
- Immaculate Conception Hall, 251 West Spruce St., Ravenna, OH 44266 (separate from the church)
- Lunch included, please notify us of dietary restrictions
- Optional: 4pm Mass at St Katharine Drexel Parish, Immaculate Conception Church
