YOUNGSTOWN, OH – The Office of Youth and Young Adult Accompaniment of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is hosting a Diocesan Youth Convention event at Walsh University (2020 E. Maple Street, North Canton) on Saturday March 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Youth groups from across the Diocese of Youngstown gather for a communal and inspirational faith experience. The day-long event features Mass with Most Reverend Bishop David J. Bonnar, breakout sessions, guest speaker Mari Pablo, music, adoration and time with friends.
The event is open to high schoolers grades 9-12 and registration is $40 until January 15. The price increases to $50 from January 16 through February 1. The group registration deadline is February 1. Group leaders must have registrants paid for, and all participants – teens, as well as adults – must have their waivers turned in by the end of the day on February 8.
