St. Rose Church in Girard, Ohio is hiring a Director of Religious Education. The parish has approximately 1,100 registered families and its school has approximately 260 students. The Director’s primary responsibilities include administration and direction of the parish’s CCD and OCIA programs; coordinate and facilitate sacramental preparation for Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation; direct the children’s catechumenate; and supervise Vacation Bible School.
The Director of Religious Education is a full-time, salaried, benefits eligible position that reports directly to and is under the supervision of the pastor. The ideal candidate will possess an appropriate educational degree or be willing to pursue educational requirements necessary to meet diocesan standards.
